Angie Montoya, a fifth grader at Roosevelt Dual Language Academy, was selected as a finalist for the Texas Cavalier's River Parade Art Contest. Angie Montoya received a check for $3,000 to go towards the school’s art program.
She will also receive two visual art classes over five consecutive days in June or July in the Summer Art Studios Program at UTSA Southwest.
