The primary goal of Edgewood's Family Engagement program is to provide parents with the tools, support services, and professional development opportunities that will support them in partnering with the district in increasing student academic achievement and success. This is done by:

• Serving as liaison between school and home.

• Facilitating and fostering a positive working environment between home and school.

• Survey parents to determine needs and assess effectiveness of the program.

• Providing tips, strategies, and ideas to staff and parents.

• Engaging parents to become full partners with the school
